Transcanada Counters Plains Justice on Keystone XL Safety

Transcanda spokesperson Terry Cunha presented his company’s perspective this week on why the Keystone XL Pipeline will be safe in the Mondak region’s frontier and sparsley populated areas. Cunha spoke in response to a Plains Justice report issued last week outlining concerns about pipeline safety and the feasibility of responding to emergencies in our region. Transcanada has not yet finished analyzing the 60 page document, however in the audio interview found to the left of this column Cunha was able to talk about the Keystone XL measures they will take in regards to rural pipeplacement and coordination with local emergency responders.
